One of the great things about downtown Albany is all of the great food! Within a short walk from 17 Chapel are:
- Angelo’s 677 Prime
- Brown Derby
- Cafe Capriccio
- dp: An American Brasserie
- Jack’s Oyster House
- Marche at 74 State
- Taste
- Yono’s
- and many more!
If that wasn’t enough variety, a special new arrival to the culinary offerings is coming in February 2012 – a Brazilian grill run by Carmine Spiro, the longtime restaurateur and host of cable TV cooking show, “Carmine’s Table”.
Carmine’s Brazilian Grill will be a carnivore’s dream – in this fixed-price, all-you-can-eat restaurant, waiters will bring skewers of churrasco-grilled meats to tables, where they will carve and serve cuts of beef, lamb, pork, and chicken to guests.
Mayor Jerry Jennings told The Business Review that the restaurant will create more than 35 full- and part-time jobs and will be “an exciting component of our downtown residential initiative.”
