Empty Nesters Enjoy Perks of Urban Living

Ready to downsize but now armed with a bit more time and money, empty nesters are enjoying the perks of urban living, according to a recent Forbes article.  Some, for the first time since their 20s, are taking advantage of the cultural opportunities, shops and restaurants that downtown has to offer.  Also, living minutes away from both work and play means a shorter commute and even more time for leisure.

Those making the move say that the attraction of a downtown luxury condo is the live music, boutique shopping and cafes in their backyard and a convenient base for weekend travel.  A stroll away from top restaurants and nightlife, and a direct three-hour drive to Boston or New York and four hours to Montreal, it’s easy to see why a downtown residence like those at 17 Chapel fits the bill for active couples who still appreciate “easy living”.
